Today is the turn of the Clare Road team, captained by Niall O’Connor-well known for his actions both on and off the pitch. A quiet and unassuming lad, Gino, as he is known, is one of the founding organisers of the tournament and indeed the organiser of many club events down through the years, always ready to put his shoulder to the wheel.
Clare Road will be quietly confident of their ability to progress to the business end of the tournament with intercounty stars including Shane O’Donnell, Grainne Nolan and Orla Devitt in their ranks, along with their rising stars set to shine.
