Our intermediate camogie team are safe having finished 3rd in their league. Our junior ladies and camogie teams fulfilled all fixtures in their respective leagues.
Call to arms - Help Needed from Parents/Guardians
Éire Óg Academy is putting the call out to parents/guardians
Can you dedicate some time on Monday and Friday evenings to help out the coaches while your child trains?
Éire Óg Academy is going from strength to strength and is delighted to say that player numbers are increasing on an ongoing basis . However, with larger numbers, there comes the challenge of a limited number of coaches, particularly for the U11s, U9s, U7s and U5s and they need some help.
Perhaps you wait in the car while your child trains or maybe you're a sideline spectator for the hour? Why not get involved in the action on the pitch instead if you can?
We are asking that any parent/guardian who can give some of their time, however big or small, please make themselves known to the coaches at training tomorrow evening and/or Monday evening. We are not looking for trained GAA coaches by any means - you might simply be able to help oversee some general drills or have a presence on the pitch to ensure that children are listening to their coaches .
Thanking you all in advance

Healthy Clubs updates
Éire Óg All-Stars has returned and is at capacity for this block with 25 children participating. We are on the lookout for more volunteers to assist with this group, while we have a good bank of dedicated helpers, it’s important to have enough to allow sufficient cover and care for the children. It involves just one hour per week (Tuesdays from 6 to 7pm), coaching experience is not required as the head coach will be running the sessions. Please contact Noreen on 087-644 9781 if you can help out.
Our playing pitches are now smoke and vape free in conjunction with the Clare Co Council #NotAroundUs campaign. This was launched in the club 2 weeks ago and we thank everyone for cooperating on this.
The Season of Respect campaign with Clare Sports Partnership has been running over the past month with good attendances from Club officers, underage players and coaches, with positive feedback coming back from the sessions. On a side note, we would remind everyone to please keep the referee’s parking spot free when we are holding matches or blitzes. It is located near the back of the clubhouse and is signposted on the wall.
Gaelic for Mothers n Others has restarted for another block, it runs on Tuesday nights from 7 to 8pm. All are welcome, contact Auriol with any queries 087-983 3368
